Strontium Technology has unveiled its 4GB DDR3 1333 MHz modules for desktops and laptops. These memory modules are meant to hog less energy while offering better heat dissipation, making it an optimal memory upgrade for today’s powerful, compute-intensive hardware and software platforms.
Explaining the need for 4GB DDR3 in a single module, Vivian Singh, CEO of Singapore-based Strontium Technology said that the dual- and multi-core CPUs for multi-tasking operations, address the performance needs for 64-bit operating systems and sophisticated applications which require high performance memory with reduced power consumption.
Strontium has also released the all-new 4GB DDR2 800 MHz modules for desktops and laptops. These modules are a perfect memory solution for users who are looking to upgrade their existing PCs with higher density and superior performance DDR2, says the company.
Strontium memory modules also come with a lifetime warranty and feature functions such as 2Q calibrations, fly-by topology and dynamic on-die-termination to ensure signal integrity. All Strontium modules are Lead-free, RoHS-compliant and Halogen-free, said the company.
Strontium 4GB DDR-3 and DDR-2 modules would be available for a suggested retail price for 4GB DDR-3 1333MHz is Rs. 14,000 and 4GB DDR-2 800MHz is Rs. 9,000 for desktops and laptops respectively.
Strontium also has plans to enter the Indian market for external storage in the near future.
